The Wang Family

Tiger and Miriam first met in Shanghai, China late spring in the year 2000. After a very interesting -and brief courtship, they traveled by train to ShiJia Zhuang, Hebei's capital city near Tiger's home village to be married. They made their home in Shanghai, where they stayed for the next several years. It was a match made in heaven because no one on Earth would have predicted it!

In 2004, several years and 3 kids later, the Wang Family was making a home in Utah, while balancing a multicultural extended family with Tiger's Business Ambitions and Miriam's desire for stability! It sounds difficult, but the Wang's were no strangers to adventure!

Today, Tiger and Miriam are the proud parents of 4 children, still living in Utah, and making their dreams come true!

Tiger

Tiger Wang was born in Hebei, China, and educated in Shanghai. He studied Computer Technology at East China Teacher's University. While still in college, he started his first successful company, what would become Lian Bang Qi Ming Xing. He started small and enjoyed the exhiliration of watching a great idea grow into a successful business. Today, he manages LBQMX remotely, and it's sister company DiscoverLanguage.com, and works full time as a programmer in Salt Lake City. He is often sought after for contract work, in addition to the work he does full time.

Miriam

Miriam was born in Florida, a little known fact, spent her childhood in Michigan, and her youth in San Diego. She went to college in Utah, served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Texas, and traveled to China on a study abroad grant in 2000. After returning from China, she felt a strong prompting to get a job and return to Shanghai, which she did that fall. She first taught at a local Kindergarten and at Chinese companies who were hoping to improve the English of their employees to prepare them to work in what has become a global market. After becoming a mom, she began teaching and then organizing and running a preschool for the children of Expatriate families in Shanghai. She loved her work and enjoyed being able to take her own children to work with her every day. When she returned to the United States after 2 years with all of these wonderful children, she regretfully said good bye to working full time, but was happy to finally be able to spend more time with her family.

While it is no secret that Miriam's first and most important employer is her family, she also loves Scentsy, Inc, which she sells as an Independent Representative. She was given her first Scentsy warmer as a gift and fell in love. She immediately began scouring her Scentsy catalog for more Warmers and Scents to try, she bought sets for her whole family, and then bought more for every room in her home! In fact, she spent so much time studying the Scentsy catalog and website, her husband finally suggested she get to work as a consultant, which she did happily! The Scentsy family is so much fun and the quality of Scentsy warmers and bars is incomparable to other brands. She is proud to offer such quality products for a reasonable price!
